Welcome

Woodford-cum-Membris is a mixed lawn bowls club based in rural Northamptonshire which welcomes players of all ages and abilities and offers a friendly environment in which to learn, play and enjoy the game, socially or competitively.

The club has around 40

members, aged from 13

upwards, who contest

a full programme of men's,

ladies and mixed club

competitions.

Every season we play over

35 competitive non-league

fixtures against other

mixed bowls clubs throughout Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire,

Warwickshire and Buckinghamshire.

Off the green and throughout the year, the club hosts a full calendar of social and fundraising events including quiz nights and bingo evenings, crown green competitions and race nights, formal dinners and informal barbecues, short mat bowling and balloon races.

Woodford-cum-Membris Bowls Club is affiliated to Bowls England and is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC). The Club also working towards and hopes to achieve Clubmark accreditation and charitable status in the very near future.

We're a progressive, forward-thinking club and pride ourselves on a modern attitude to the game, a good standard of play but above all a warm welcome.
